SpotchBot is a Twitch chatbot that seamlessly integrates song requests with Spotify for streaming. It is currently in a closed-beta phase and is only available to a select group of streamers. With SpotchBot, viewers can use a variety of commands in the chat to interact with the bot. To join the closed-beta or inquire about the project, users can reach out to the SpotchBot team on Discord.

SpotchBot has a variety of commands that can be used in chat. These commands are listed below.

<> - is a required parameter.

[] - is an optional parameter.

!blacklist/bl <user> - Adds a user to the blacklist so they can't use the bot on the streamer's channel.Mod & Streamer
!next/nextsong/ns - Shows the next song in the queue.
!pause - Pauses the current song.Mod & Streamer
!queue/q - Shows the following 5 songs in the queue.
!request/songrequest/sr <spotify song link/song name> - Adds the given song to the streamer's queue.
!resume - Resumes current song.Mod & Streamer
!skip - Skips the current song.Mod & Streamer
!song/nowplaying/np/currentsong - Shows which song is playing right now (as well as a link to the song).
!spotch/spotchbot/spotchhelp - Displays a link to this page.
!unblacklist/unbl <user> - Removes a user from the blacklist so they can use the bot on the streamer's channel.Mod & Streamer
!unlink - Removes associated Spotify account.Streamer
!volume/vol <volume> - Changes the volume of the music (0-100).Mod & Streamer
!voteskip/vs - Starts a 60-second (or participates in) vote to skip the current song.
